About maria

Hi!

My name is Maria and I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. After living in San Francisco, California for 5 years I´m now based in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

I'm a fashion designer and makeup artist, but I don't like to tag myself in any way. I’d rather say I’m a visual storyteller that likes to tell stories with colors and textures. 

My work goes from popular and important Argentinian magazine covers such as La Nacion Revista to music videos, making the entire look for a celebrity to important events, runway speed up shows and theatre. My last years were fully dedicated to makeup and TV as well as brides and social makeup. When I moved to San Francisco, my brushes were transformed into technology and I dived into the Augmented Reality ecosystem. I worked as a Virtual Try-On Specialist for Ulta Beauty the past years, creating experiences from real to virtual for makeup and skincare products.

My journey has now taken me to Punta del Este, a place near the waves and the woods that I call home.

What I like the most about what I do is being able to highlight the beauty we all have and being part of the intimate and powerful space beauty and creativity has in life.

My favorite outfit is the one on the picture, my grandama's red jeans and white shirt.
